Why do some things have colour change, but most don't?
We implemented colour change because
a) It's a neat feature
b) It means that you can buy some things once & have several options instead of needing to buy that item multiple times in different colours.
However, not everything really works well with colour change. Some things are too complex with too many different colours in them & others are designed with a specific colour scheme in mind (Christmas & Mardis Gras items come to mind). In addition, the colour change is one more thing the computer has to do in the background. If everything had the ability to colour change, it would start slowing the game down. Not a lot, but with a few thousand colour-changed items in your habitat, it might start to get noticable, and we want you to have the smoothest play experience that we can give you.
Can I rename my BittyPal?
We understand that sometimes our BittyPals decide don't like their nickname or that they want to be known by a different name in order to better express who they are. So if you have discussed it with them, you may change their name, and even their appearance by buying a special Potion of Transmogrification, found in the Marketplace.
I originally adopted a Dragon, but now I see that you will be adding Unicorns. Can I change Pal types?

OK, we get it. We will introduce new Pals from time to time and they will all be very cool in their own way. So you have a couple of options.
You can either start a new account (if you're still under the account limit), or you may change their name, and even their appearance by buying a special Potion of Transmogrification, found in the Marketplace.
How can I tell what's in a gift box? Are they all the same?
They are not all the same & not even we know exactly what is in a specific gift box. There is a random list that each type pulls from. Many of the items found in gift boxes are not available in the Marketplace & available items in gift boxes will change over time.
